After the Air Jordans 23 (or XX3) in 2008, Nike stopped naming the line with consecutive numbers and then started a new nomenclature using the year. So the Air Jordans 24 were officially the Air Jordan 2009 and now realesed the Air Jordan 2010 (if you prefer to called them Air Jordans 25 or XX5, that's OK, but Nike won't do it) Information from Dwyane Wade Universe.
