This is the complete list with all the players that have been selected for All-Defensive first, second and third teams, season by season.

Current All-Defensive First Team

NBA Honors: All-Defensive Teams

The voting panel for the NBA All-Defensive Teams consists of the NBA’s 30 head coaches, who are asked to select All-Defensive First and Second Teams by position.

Two points are awarded to each player for a First Team vote and one point is awarded for a Second Team vote. Coaches are not permitted to vote for players from their own team.

In the case of a tie, both players are considered part of the team, like in 2005-06 with the tie between Kobe Bryant and Jason Kidd in the guard spot.

In 2009-10, Tim Duncan was selected for the 13th consecutive time for one of these teams..
